After hearing Lorien tell Sheridan (S04, Ep05) that reanimating him had cut his life short and that he had only twenty more years to live, making him die in his sixties, I just realized, by total chance, that half the main actors of the Babylon 5 series did die in their sixties (well, many of them anyway) !
- Richard Biggs (Franklin) died at 44 of aortic aneurysm (May 22, 2004 in LA, CA)
- Tim Choate (Zathras) died at 49 (September 24, 2004 in LA, CA)
- Jeff Conaway (Zack) died at 60 of an overdose (May 27, 2011 in Encino, CA)
- Jerry Doyle (Garibaldi) died at 60 following years of heavy drinking (July 27, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV)
- Mira Furlan (Delenn) died at 65 from West Nile virus (20 January 2021 in LA, CA)
- Stephen Furst (Vir) died at 63 of complication due to diabetes (June 16, 2017 in Moorpark, CA)
- Andreas Katsulas (G’Kar) died at 59 of lung cancer (February 13, 2006 in LA, CA)
- Michael O’Hare (Sinclair) died at 60 of an heart attack (September 28, 2012 in NY, NY)
- Louis Turenne (Brother Theo) died at 73 (25 July 2006)
Still alive are:
- Bruce Boxleitner (Sheridan) — married to Melissa Gilbert (Anna Sheridan) from 1995 to 2011
- Jason Carter (Marcus)
- Claudia Christian (Ivanova)
- Peter Jurasik (Londo)
- Walter Koenig (Bester)
- Bill Mumy (Lennier)
- Patricia Tallman (Lyta) — partner of J. Michael Straczynski from 2002 to 2013
- Andrea Thompson (Talia) — married to Jerry Doyle (Garibaldi) from 1995 to 1997
- Ed Wasser (Morden)
Apparently, I am not the only one to think this weird… I guess that fighting the Shadows was quite unhealthy !
