I feel immortal now —
My name chiseled in stone
Remembered for generations

Avec des milliers de fleurs
Qui enjolivent le paysage
Plus la saison avance plus le parc Frédéric-Bach se couvre de couleurs, formant une mosaïque de centaines d’espèces de fleurs. De semaine en semaine, certaines espèces se fanent et disparaissent, laissant la place à d’autres… Dès la fin mai, les premières couleurs se répandent mais c’est en juin que le canevas explosent de richesse florale.

Saturday’s haiku
Exhausted and depressed —
Hoping for an end to trouble
And for a lasting rest
Some spring in my steps
Soon parks and gardens will awaken
From their hivernal slumber
And there’ll be bees and flowers !
… but now it’s mostly wet and muddy…
I took a walk around the neighbourhood this afternoon to see how spring is affecting the parks and gardens. I was pleased.

gentle stream bring greener pastures
The garden
Snow melted in the front
Not so much in the back
But life is coming back nevertheless

Pour honorer sa mémoire
Après lui avoir rendue hommage avec des mots, document.write(“”); voici un hommage en images à la vie de ma mère, Laure Gauthier, décédée d’un cancer le dimanche 5 mars 2017. Elle avait quatre-vingt-sept ans et a eut une belle vie bien remplie qui mérite d’être célébrée et commémorée. Puisse-t-elle continuer à vivre dans nos souvenirs…
